In March 2019, four-year-old Superior Logistics doubled its employee base overnight. The Ohio-based home furnishings delivery and installation company did an “acquihire”: bringing on 32 delivery staff members from one of its biggest home furnishings store customers. Chief People Officer, Jeremiah Runyon, had to manage all the details for new staff across locations: all from 2,000 miles away.
