We're looking for a Client Account Executive to work with our existing customer base (paying and non-paying) to evaluate their current usage and uncover opportunities to up-sell and grow revenue within those accounts. This includes package upgrades, new products, benefits pass off and more. The ideal candidate will have experience working to up-sell a current client base (farming), can work in a high volume environment in an organized manner and is a strategic thinker who can identify creative ways to win deals. You’ll work under our Director of Sales and partner with numerous other departments to deliver client success, product improvements and drive revenue. You’ll be part of a growing team and have an opportunity to have significant impact on multiple areas of our organization.

  • Work with our existing book of business/clients to identify up-sell opportunities
  • Attain or exceed monthly quota in a high volume sales environment
  • Prospect via email marketing and phone calls into existing clients leveraging key data points and analytics from sales ops
  • Run discovery on current product usage, uncover areas of improvement & potential for up-sell
  • Become an expert in the Zenefits product suite (especially payroll)
  • Work closely with account management, CSM’s, support & other departments to identify areas for improvement and/or clients issues/escalations - team mentality
  • Heavy pipeline management - experience with a large book of business & a fast pace environment
  • Adapt quickly to both the addition of new products and enhancements to current products and be able to effectively communicate to client base & leverage to create new sales opportunities

A little more about you:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2-5  years of Sales or Sales Account Management experience in a farmer or hunter/farmer role
  • Experience using Salesforce.com and know how to run reports/analyze data
  • Pipeline management and organization skills a must
  • Can work in a team environment & identify areas of improvement for process and product
  • Articulate, well written and professional

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience in the HR or HCM space
  • Experience with Payroll & timekeeping
