HR Fast Facts: Louisiana Child Support Payments Registration Process

Businesses must register with the state of Louisiana for payments to be remitted. To complete registration for Louisiana Electronic Child Support Payments, please follow the steps below:

1. Complete the attached Employer Registration form.
2. Once the form is completed, submit it to the Louisiana Office of Child Support using one of the methods below:

   – MAIL: LACCU EDI/ACH Registration

   – IMPORTANT: Due to the sensitive nature of garnishment information, we highly recommend encrypting/password protecting your email to the state agency
3. Louisiana will provide their bank information and confirmation you can begin sending payments to their agency (you do not need to provide the bank information to Zenefits, as we already have it on file)
4. Once you have completed the steps above, you can set up garnishments in Zenefits by following the instructions here.
